We had a great time on Don’s tour! He packed SO much into one short day and the time just flew by! His knowledge of the island was endless and he nicely adjusted the tour to accommodate the interests of everyone on board! Way more of a personalized experience than the big coach tours. And more chocolate than you could possibly eat!

Wow. What a fantastic tour in Hilo! You won’t be able to find a better one for the price. Don is an encyclopedia of knowledge for all the plants and animals on the big Island, Hawaii. He has lived on the island for 21 years. He will also give you a history lesson about Hawaii. Now the kicker. After our fantastic Hilo tour we asked Don to recommend a tour in Kona. He said he would drive across the island to Kona and give us another tour. So we did that. It was another fantastic excursion . So bottom line, Don’ s tours/excursions are fantastic. You can’t do better.

The best tour we had in all of Hawaii. Don was so knowledgeable and took us not only to the main sites but some sites that only Don takes tours to. It was really special to have a tour guide that has 20 years + experience in Hilo tours. When we return to Hilo, we will be touring with Don.

Don's taxi was well worth it! He had a tour set up for us BUT we requested a couple extra stops and he didn't mind stopping. He is so knowledgeable and knows his stuff! Black sand beach, waterfalls, lava tube, shops, macadamia store, volcano, saw a sea turtle, birds, etc. He knows what he's doing and you won't be disappointed!
